Effective Date: January 1, 2026 • Last Revised: September 11, 2026
These Terms of Service (Terms) constitute a legally binding agreement between you (Customer, Client, or User) and CF Electrical Service, LLC (Company, we, us, or our), regarding your use of cfelectricalservice.com and all associated estimate inquiries, service requests, and electrical contracting services.
All electrical work is performed under the direct oversight of Charles E. Federick Sr., State of Connecticut Unlimited Electrical Contractor License #191788-E1, registered with the Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection (DCP) pursuant to Chapter 393 of the Connecticut General Statutes.
CF ELECTRICAL SERVICE, LLC IS AN ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR, NOT A FIRST RESPONDER OR 911 PUBLIC SAFETY DISPATCHER. DO NOT SUBMIT AN ELECTRONIC WEB FORM IF YOU ARE EXPERIENCING AN ACTIVE LIFE-THREATENING EMERGENCY.
If you see visible flames, arcing or sparking wires, smell heavy acrid burning odors, observe downed electrical utility power lines, or suspect a live energized structure hazard:
Utility Distribution Jurisdiction Notice:
In the State of Connecticut, public utility corporations (including Eversource Energy and The United Illuminating Company - UI) maintain exclusive legal jurisdiction over the utility power grid, overhead lines, utility poles, primary service drops, and utility meter seals.
CF Electrical Service, LLC cannot restore power resulting from utility grid failures, downed utility poles, blown substation transformers, or neighborhood-wide blackouts. If your loss of power affects neighboring properties or originates on the utility supply side of your electric meter, you must report the outage directly to your utility company:
Our licensed scope begins at the customer service attachment point (weatherhead / meter pan load side) and extends into your electrical distribution panel, branch circuits, and sub-systems.
Submitting an estimate request or priority emergency form via this website does not establish a binding contractor-client relationship or a guarantee of immediate physical dispatch. All web inquiries constitute exploratory requests for consultation.
A binding contract is formed only upon mutual execution of a formal written Electrical Work Agreement or explicit oral work authorization confirmed by our Master Electrician during direct telephone dispatch. Stated arrival windows for 24/7 commercial emergency services are targets subject to prevailing traffic conditions, weather events, and active field utility outages.
By submitting your telephone number on our forms, you grant express consent to CF Electrical Service, LLC and its authorized representatives to contact you via voice telephone call and text message (SMS/MMS) regarding your estimate, electrical inquiry, technician dispatch status, and invoicing. You acknowledge that message and data rates may apply and that message frequency varies. Consent is not a condition of purchase. You may opt-out at any time by replying STOP or calling our office directly.
Site Access: The Client shall furnish safe, unhindered access to the project work area, panel boards, and disconnects during scheduled service hours.
Permits & Inspections: Where required by municipal building authorities, CF Electrical Service will secure town electrical permits under License #191788-E1. Permit filing fees and municipal inspection charges are billed as line items unless otherwise specified in writing.
Pre-Existing Non-Compliant Conditions: We are not responsible for pre-existing building code violations, concealed knob-and-tube wiring, improper amateur modifications, or hazardous panel defects discovered during execution. Corrective actions necessary to achieve National Electrical Code (NEC) compliance will be submitted as written change orders.
CF Electrical Service warrants that all electrical labor will be executed in a professional, workmanlike manner compliant with the National Electrical Code (NEC 2023 / Connecticut State Building Code) for a period of one (1) year from the date of final installation or inspection sign-off.
This warranty excludes failures caused by utility power surges, lightning strikes, customer tampering, overloading, water damage, or severe weather acts of God. Installed electrical equipment (e.g. Siemens/Square D breakers, Generac generators, LED luminaires) is covered exclusively by the underlying manufacturer warranty.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY CONNECTICUT LAW, CF ELECTRICAL SERVICE, LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF BUSINESS PROFITS, COMMERCIAL REFRIGERATION FOOD SPOILAGE, FROZEN PIPE DAMAGE, DATA LOSS, OR DOWNTIME RESULTING FROM ELECTRICAL POWER INTERRUPTIONS OR EQUIPMENT FAILURES.
IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED THE TOTAL SUM ACTUALLY PAID BY CLIENT TO CF ELECTRICAL SERVICE, LLC FOR THE SPECIFIC SERVICE TICKET OR ELECTRICAL WORK GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.
These Terms and any electrical contracting disputes shall be governed by, construed, and enforced in accordance with the laws of the State of Connecticut, without regard to conflicts of law principles. Any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms shall be instituted exclusively in the Connecticut Superior Court for the Judicial District of Waterbury. If any provision is deemed unenforceable, remaining provisions remain in full force.
