Overhead Service Mast Pulled Loose by Branches

During high winds or ice accumulation, fallen tree branches can pull down the overhead service drop from the street pole, pulling the weatherhead and steel conduit away from your building siding.

SERVICE BOUNDARY: Under Connecticut utility service arrangements, the property owner is generally responsible for customer-side equipment such as the riser conduit, weatherhead, and meter enclosure. When physical attachments are damaged, utilities typically require a licensed electrical contractor to secure premise equipment before grid reconnection.
